The virus (any virus) is passed / received thru your nose and mouth. So, anything that blocks these openings helps reduce the 'viral load'. SINCE, those with no symptoms at all, can spread the virus to someone it MAY prove FATAL to .... it is important to help reduce it's spread .... until we know for sure the threat is gone. SIMPLE. You have to look BEYOND the nose on your stupid face, and consider OTHERS.

But, if like many folks, you consider yourself more of an infectious disease expert than pretty much any leading epidemiologist or virologist on EARTH - then have at it. "Them experts don't know nuthin' man!!"

I will continue to protect myself, and YOU, by getting vaccinated and wearing a mask AFTER (a bit) the threat is gone. It ain't that tough, and also helps with pollen issues if you have allergies like me.

The only reason I use mask is to be more incognito when entering an Indy apartment , studio or AMP. I suspect some of these venues might have cameras and are recording.

Masks do not stop completely spreading the air volume you exhale and aerosols. They do not filter the air you inhale. Seems a pretty lame justification from the woke semidoct crowd invoking “the science” but no specific epidemiological studies/papers on the topic. .

No, the people that are at risk (fatbodies, elderly, other illnesses) need to take care of themselves and mask up or avoid crowds and stay home.

The rest of us aren't under any obligation to do shit for anyone else. Other people have bills, do you feel compelled to pay for them? How many times have the so called experts changed their fucking minds on JUST masks? Seriously. Experts are just people that put their pants on one leg at a time like the rest of us.
