Trump files class action lawsuit against Big Tech!

From the article above and the crux of the matter:

"Less than an hour after the event, Trump's team began sending out fundraising appeals related to the lawsuits. The website recruiting participants for the proposed class action suitsalso featured a link to donate, and the Republican National Committee sent out a fundraising appeal invoking the suit as well."

Sounds like Jim Baker, Jerry Fallwell and Jim Jones to me. Yup, donate all ya got. Originally Posted by reddog1951

Not the only one with hyperbole here

I do not hate Trump, but do think that he is a piss-poor "leader", has few qualifications for POTUS, and believe that "cowboy" demeanor is counter productive to national and world politics. Same applies to LBJ earlier.

Never equated the Capital "incident" to a 2nd amendment issue although a few have been charged with gun violations:

My main thrust is if you justify one group of village idiots, you have to justify both, although I personally think the January 6 idiots were the greater threat to our country's sovereignty.

Oh Please - I may be a 'village idiot" in the views of teh fascist DPST, but 'really"???

An easy example of censorship that we all witnessed in plane sight was Facebook, Google and Twitter censoring any mention of the lab leak hypothesis. People weren't allowed to talk about it.

Now, all of a sudden, they are, for some reason, but are still walking on thin ice, so to speak.

But I guess we are supposed to pretend that didn't happen.

Not to mention the four year 'Russia Hoax " - paid for by H....

Now information non grata to the LSM and big tech censors any mention of these facts and Truths.

We shouldn't have a Ministry of Truth and giant media corporations banning anything that goes against it, like in the 1984 book.

Instead, giant media corporations should not be banning information and people should be allowed to decide for themselves what to believe in. So what if people spread misinformation? Who decides what is misinformation?

In the communist paradise, you will be totally safe and protected. Everything will be decided for you. You won't have to worry about anything, anymore. If you want freedom, you have to accept the danger that comes with it. The danger of people making their own decisions. That's more dangerous for the elite than it is for you or I, anyway.

First, you are PLAINLY talking about it here, uncensored, but only because the publishers here allow you to use THEIR site to do so. THEY own it, YOU don't, as Trump doesn't own Twitter, etc. Freedom of press does not mean equal press, nor necessarily equal access. Again, careful what you wish for. Give Trump back twitter "access" (not a "right"), then give Kamela, Bernie, et al, equivalent free access to conservative media.

Eccie doesn't control a huge portion of the media.

You believe that it's the right of corporations to ban whatever information they want at whim from any or all media outlets. I don't know why you are championing that.

Why would you be against protecting speech on social media according to the first amendment, regardless of whether it's a private business or not?
