What about the Texas anti-John law now in effect

Soooo I guess we are now Gucci to slap each other around like the old days huh?
Lol
In the early 1900s, we started the War on Booze. In the 60s, we started the War on Drugs. Having lost both of those, now the puritans move to the War on Sex. Surely we will win this one right? After all, it is the oldest vice and profession.

Right now, there is a tremendous labor shortage so lets make everyone felons so no one is qualified to work anywhere.

It’s already having an effect. Lot of VERY well known ladies in Texas are now posting they are going UTR, only seeing regulars, etc. There is also a lot trying to get dumb f#!*s to pay for Onlyfans . If only the authorities would concentrate on true crime.....
Authorities may not even want this stupid law. In a day where there isn't supposed to be any bias, isn't this just a whole bunch of gender bias? Take two people who are both willfully participating and criminalize only one. How is that "equal treatment"? The best we can hope for is that the courts will strike for that reason, but I doubt it. They always say there is no justice in court.

They are going after the ladies as well then trying to get them to “cooperate”... giving up names etc.

....We hit Dallas over the holiday weekend, and various fantasy folks we both know thereabouts all said no issues with taking spouse of the hour to dinners or movies if that's not a "first" date night with that person. However first dates have a much increased level of screening. Originally Posted by Unique_Carpenter

Actually, thinking about this more, while it is completely unfair and unreasonable to felonize someone when there is no victim, there is a bigger agenda. What cant felons do? Cant vote. Cant own a gun. This law will begin marginalizing a segment of society they want silenced anyway. Gun toting rednecks who like their titty bars and hoes. Now, they have no say and no gun either.

I would expect the women the TX legislature to be in favor of something so blatantly gender biased, but I cant believe the men in the legislature were stupid enough to vote for it. I read it was unanimous. But I have had MO congressmen tell me they voted YES on similar sex-related legislation when they really disagreed with it. They said they would be lambasted for taking exception. They actually admitted that to me. I offered to buy them a copy of JFK's Profiles in Courage for an enlightening read.

Of course it's NOT allowed.
Since they're not locking people up for weed in Texas much anymore and since we have very lax gun laws now there should be room freeing up in the jail soon. I read on Wikipedia that no man has ever been arrested for buying sex in Sweden. European laws are less harsh so there I guess the men just get fined. I imagine you'd have to look towards the Middle East to find more comparable laws.

It seems like the lieutenant governor Dan Patrick is the main force behind this amendment. Seems like he teamed up with some liberal Democrat feminist type women to make it happen. While no one voted against the law the amendment to make this a felony was passed on a committee with suspended rules and given the chaos in the final days of the Texas 2021 legislature I don't think too many people read this law before signing it. Couple of thoughts here
Please dont use the term "gals" unless you are over the age 80.

Thank you...lol
