Political Battle

... First off, Tiny - I don't considour the NY Times
as being "insiders"... And secondly, I heard Elon's FATHER
explain the situation. ... So, I'll surely believe Errol's
version over The Times. Originally Posted by Salty Again

You may want to Google that as discussing it here could violate forum rules.

Maybe he was blue because of what happened with the
budget bill - or maybe something else.

... I've never spoken to Elon Musk - but his-own father
surely believes that he over-reacted with his Trump comments.

... As I mentioned, let's see what happens this week.

But in my opinion this is nothing more than an illustration of the corruption and incompetence inherent in a system that precludes competency in favor of political loyalty and cronyism.

Would Elon Musk really be so angry if he didn’t feel like he was getting cheated out of the benefits he expected from his own campaign contributions? Originally Posted by txdot-guy

AOC replied with three words when asked to comment on this towel snapping contest: “Girls are fighting.”

Don’t overthink this. It’s a bitch slap fight featuring two of the least serious bitches on the planet. Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

I think you can read 10 FT articles a month for free but if not, and if you're interested, you can PM me and I'll try to send you a gift link.

But yes, I do agree that Musk was expecting to have a say and when he figured out he wouldn't, he melted down.
... And THAT makes a lot of sense also. ...

... Surely would seem the barney is over.

Perhaps Elon Musk's own father and I surely brought a good end
to the conflict. ...

... And no need to thank me, mates - virtue is its-own reward ...

I'm surprised it took this long for those two to get on each others case. Originally Posted by Unique_Carpenter

As he and DOGE surely found a lot of savings by cutting waste. ... Originally Posted by Salty Again

If doggy was so concerned about cutting waste, wouldn't it go looking at the top money grabbers at the Hill first and start there? That is the most reasonably logical thing to do.

ESPECIALLY go look at a Department that has FAILED at least 5 or 6 of its last audits.

But did they do that? No.

Doggy is BS. If they truly wanted to save the US Tax Payer $$$, they would have started at the Defence Department.

But Salty has inside information. Surely he’s correct. He spoke with Musk I’m sure. Originally Posted by 1blackman1

... Now YOU are tryin' to take the thread off-topic.

The thread concerns the "battle" between Trump and Musk.
And it's over now. ... So, ...

... The thread is NOT about DOGE - or departments failing audits
- or money grabbers at the Hill.
