but I think having a good Phillips on hand is a must. And I needed a ratcheting one for working on my car. So I got this because it does it all. In 3 years I've not been let down.

I would NEVER use those rachet drivers to open up the buckets.
A painters tool that are used specifically for that purpose or a regular flathead screwdriver.

I use it with a flathead piece attached. I have arthritis in my hands so it's a lot easier for me than painter tools or a cheapie screwdriver from walmart. I'm gentle, don't worry I love my tools - my art studio is actually 50% tools *grin* A power drill and sander being my favourites of course.
