"Scarlet Begonias" or "Scarlet / Fire" ; 'she had bells on her fingers and rings on her toes'

scarlet begonia = hooha (after writing this I feel like that guy who used to post frequently and wrote in his own version of incomprehensible English)

Jackie, my guess is you have seen "Scarlet / Fire" .......

Yes, I'm a Deadhead - but I'm not getting your point as the song relates to this thread - I'm missing the way you might be intending to come across, although, I can see a few obscure connections . . . Sublime did a version of the song, but their lyrics, if posted here, would violate board rules.

I'm not sure that you might want to continue this in a public thread if you're tracking your thoughts with the Sublime version (I might be following your train of thought there, and granted, I'm reaching to make it "work" in context) . . . If you would prefer, you can email me.

I'm sure I'll "get it" (maybe?) in the morning after I have slept a bit more . . . my fracking Lunesta didn't really kick in tonight.

Maybe I should have just replied with a "Huh?"?? And asked if you had been taking posting lessons from 'cheaper2buyit'??? LOL

To me its a song of love and infatuation with a dangerous object of affection . . . and, the line "Once in a while you get shown the light, In the strangest of places if you look at it right", may pretty much be the answer to life, in a lot of ways.

I get the feeling I'm possibly going to regret this making post in the morning . . . well, later in the morning . . .

Oh. That makes perfect sense boardman - sorry. Cadillac Pussy, indeed. LMAO

Jackie, I was too circumspect. (like cheapertobuyit)

I use "scarlet begonia" as my two words for vagina, pussy. Seems properly descriptive, the color scarlet and the flower begonia. And, scarlet may be the color of one of those on the pink to red scale.

Love the song too and "Scarlet / Fire" always gave me a a blast of excitement...; you know it is a many centuries old ballad?

Saw 50 shows, (nice round number but accurate) and saw Jerry's last show a few days before his death.

Now you know why I posted on the 'color / vagina / evolution' thread.

"jussaymo" comes from The Radiator's / The Rad's "Mom's Ball", big annual Halloween bash in New Orleans hosted by The Radiators every year. "Jussaymo" was the theme one year in the late '80s, obviously a reference to Nancy's "Just say no" anti drug 'effort'.

The Rads are a favorite band of a lot of Dead Heads; a friend gave me a bootleg tape of the Jussaymo Halloween party for putting him up when the Dead was in KC, many years ago.
Well, yes - that actually makes perfect sense now, thank you.

And, cool background on your board handle.
