You may want to look around in some of the other forums... Seems like this is occurring with some frequency with one of the aforementioned "highly respected providers". There is no excuse for this type of thing IMO. Originally Posted by emplover

I didnt say i was justifing a NC/NS. I believe in that thread I even said theres no excuse for it, i simply stated that there is a reason for it. There was a thread on this awhile back and I am simply repeating what a provider said in that thread. Again...

If you can't understand the point I was making then I don't know what else to tell you. I simly said there is a reason, even if you may not like it, but there is no excuse.

sounds to me like you're blaming the victim---what exactly do you think is the "reason"?? Did it occur to you that the reason might be that the provider double-booked, just plain forgot, is incapable of planning ahead or scheduling things in advance, had another more lucrative opportunity come up with a regular customer, decided she didn't feel like working, etc? The "reason" may have nothing to do with the client. . .

. . . and sometimes the fault lies 100% with the provider--lol --who has yet to respond either in this forum or in pm/email. Someday kenmonk this sort of thing will happen to you --it's just a matter of time in this hobby--then maybe you'll understand and quit trying to be a whiteknight.

And as long as she hasnt responded to him or cleared her name here then who can you go with? him! I have not seen her and dont know him so yes, my thought and your though could be in the middle but i doubt the answer is. Just my opinion, take it for what it is worth.

I have been nc/ns and it hurts me far more then most of you. I live in Saint Joseph, so when I drive to the plaza to get nc/ns it really sucks. hour and 10 min or so drive time one way. Take into account gas and it adds up so I have been there and I was pissed off but I let it go. I didn't even bother to ask why. I sent a pm, never got a reply and I moved on.

What a debate. The OP posted a NCNS as info for others in the hobby. Unless the provider in question posts her side of the story, it's just an informative post.

Right know it is a "he said, she said" but she has not said anything, just the WKs.
