A few years back a woman friend of mine asked me to put a keystroke logging program on her computer to spy on her husband's philandering. I couldn't get the anti virus software to ignore it so we went with a hardware logger dongle on the usb keyboard cable. Worked great, not detectable (unless you look at the back of the computer).
