To all membeers, anyone that is going to do any type of legal actions, must have a "deep pocket", and If they are previous members, they are just as involved as anyone here! correct? Lawyers are "a dime a dozen", no offense please, but unless they are going to collect big, no lawyer is going to the trouble,and one more idea ....... eccie and P411 is it not our membership so large, other resourse for "us" . I mean you and I, as members, there is a big number of us! right? I will contribute to a "fund" of course I need to check if it is legit!. Not to worry, if anyone gets or got "burned" by a privider or a client, its our fault! Why do we have to be so trusting????.

On the national forum, it came from p-411.com. They didn't even use/spoof the correct address from what I understand. I'm not on P411, so someone else will need to confirm this. I wonder if hobbiest and providers got it, or just the latter of the two.

Its a scam thank goodness!! I knew it was strange when I got that email through my old email. Yet I didnt receive it in my new one where I receive anything from p411.

These haters need to get a life. We just want to get laid in a safe & joyful community!

Spoofed or Phising scams happen all the time. I tell others that i know do not click on a link before seeing the full e-mail and does it look legit?

Please excuse my language everyone but I have to say it: What an Ass-Hat!!!! I can't believe someone (rp) would attack EVERYONE over a personal matter between just a couple of people. It just astounds me.

txmax, I appreciate that you are trying to calm pre-mature panic, but for the sake of the truth, I have to disagree with you. The above is only true of public lawyers.

When you go through the government (Attorney General), they are NOT motivated by $$.
They are motivated by Press, Attention, and the Law.
The only thing they care about is whether or not the case is solid enough TO WIN and then maximizing the Press they can get for "cleansing and protecting" society.

The main point I would bring up is that rp has NO PROOF regardless of whether or not he implicates himself. And the only "evidence" that he might possibly have is circumstantial.
So nothing has changed really. Hobby boards provide the same evidence or lack thereof that they always have. Otherwise they would have moved on them a looooooong time ago.

That's my opinion, anyway.

The e-mail was sent from a spoofed account! It was sent to both P411 members as well as non-P411 members, so the list likely wasn't garnered from P411.

That said, if you received that e-mail, DO NOT REPLY or even open it!
It is a malware attack. It loads a rootkit as well as a few others.
