50/50 Raffle and Pepper Update

I just got off the phone with Pepper...she's a STRONG girl...Bless her heart! She's still the Pepper we know!

She told me, "oh, btw...I just shaved off the rest of my hair! I just got tired of seeing it all over the place! I keep lookin' at myself in the mirrior! I mean...I just can't stop looking!" (laughs...that little Pepper laugh!)

Then, without skipping a beat...she says, "well, at least I don't have to shave my legs anymore...they really ought to come up with *Chemo Shave Cream!*" (lol)

She has a long hard road ahead of her...as does other Cancer patients we know! Bless all of them! She's a positive person...that's one of her truly amazing qualities! Laughter IS good for the soul!!

I sometimes give it to folks with both barrels to folks on this board, but my hats off to each of you who participated in this and a tremendous kudos to the organizers.

I've been down this road and your "attitude" goes a long way in determining whether someone will beat the "Big C". It is a battle no doubt. Having people in your corner is a great feeling to have.

Hey guys! Thanks for cheering me up! And thanks to the sweet man who's numbers those were. Sooooo much appreciated. And yes, in a year, let's do another and donate to the cause but not mine LOL, Im supposed to be better

So the update: They did find another small lump on my opposite boobie but that's ok cause Cancer is a bitch, but Im bitchier! (Totally stole that from sa_artman LOL) Anyway, Im not worried about it. Im resting like I am supposed to and doing my chemo on time (just got home from my 2nd round), and eating pretty healthy. They gave me new meds so hopefully I am not sick like last time. It was 7 days of HELL! They changed my chemo plan to 8-9 months of chemo. Also, if they need to take my boobies, I can get a boob job! Wooooooohooooo! I always wanted one! We'll see what happens. You guys should see me. I have a new look everyday. I look totally hot in my wigs haha :P And yes, chemo hair removal creme, it's the future! I swear! LOL Well, that's all folks! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow, I'm sorry it took this long for me to realize they were actually talking about you Pepper. Bless you, I'm glad you are so optimistic, I hope you have a great thanksgiving and that all goes well. Happy thanksgiving to everyone else on the forum.
