October Social

I have to agree that we are overdue for some type of gathering. It would be a great idea to have our own social in whatever location, be it Laredo, Corpitos, or McAllen.

All locations have there advantages and disadvantages.

I do have access to a location on Laredo that is very good and private, a hotel close at hand that has a very reasonable rate, and a staff that will be more than willing to accommodate us in anyway needed.

IF we can get something going, I will be more that happy to get the wheels turning to make it happen in Laredo.

Preliminary plan is a private venue [60 dollar cover for gents, gratis for ladies, and includes all alcohol, snacks and limited finger food] that we have used in the past; if not, we'll use a very friendly venue which, with a few "adjustments" allows us some good privacy, but not enough to relax the no-nudity rule completely. Bonus, the alternate venue will have zero cover charge and inexpensive drinks and a full food menu.

We already have folks from Dallas, Houston, Austin and points in between planning to attend.

I just got my ticket punched to go to the Halloween social in San Antonio. Anybody else interested in going from here and possibly making a road trip up there?
