Looks like the same ole defense, can we say we need LB, LB, LB, LB,LB. The ones we have are two slow and are never playing the right gap responsibility.
Geez this 1st Chef's pre-season game isn't going so well for them. Almost half time, and there are no points scored yet. Yikes! Thank goodness these games don't count.

I am fully aware that many, err probably most, people just Love to Hate the Cowboys.

I guess for me, it's not about the actual players that are on the team, but it's about the team just being a good 'ol all American team. It could be a team made up of squirrels, and I'd still always be a Cowboys Fan! I know it's silly, but even if they were the absolute all time worst team in the NFL, I would still profess my loyalty to the Cowboys LOL.

LOL The cowboys got beat by the raiders last night.. I know that hurt
Pre-Season doesn't count towards the playoffs LOL. It only matters when it really matters.

But yeah you are so very right....the Chefs or Cowboys losing to the Raiders always blows!

There are very few teams in any sport that I hate, but the Raiders and the Yankees are about my only ones LOL.
*Raiders are rivals so automatically pre-conditioned to hate them LOL. (AND) I hate Tom Cable! He's a violent asshole LOL.
*Yanks: I hate A-Rod and Jeter. They aren't violent assholes, LOL, they are just assholes LMAO.

Ok all you Chiefs fans, don't freak on preseason results. Last year Saints went 3-1, Colts went 1-3, so preseason record has no relevance to regular season/playoffs.

Now if your a Boy's fan like some have stated on this board(yeah you Bottomless)preseason is important for Tony Homo to perfect his deepthroating skills! , otherwise it is only a time for player evaluation and timing/tempo. I still like 10-6, but I'm an optimist. Concern, as is every year, offensive/defensive lines, everyone knows that is where 80% of football games are won or lost. If we can plug gap at right side on offense and stop the run on defensive line, I love our chances at playoffs and winning my bet, who incidentally is a spilttail, but she knows her football better then most men and never lets me forget the female intelligence superiorty. GO CHIEFS!!

Bottomless Filth. You rock! Cowboys rule! That and your filthy nasty wonderful attitude towards sex makes me want to do you doggie style on the Star in Cowboys Stadium in front of 100000 people screaming. One hundred thousand people screaming at me finish quickly and to cover up my ass, that is.

What is hilarious to me is that one of the Cowboys coaching castoffs is the Chiefs "Head" coach. (sipapi I think my pun was much funnier than yours).

As to Tony "Homo", well if I got the beautiful women he gets, I wouldn't give a shit what anyone thinks or says about my name. I'd just keep having sex with the likes of Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson, and getting lap dances from Brittney Spears instead of some local stripper. If those things make him gay, then a lot more men would be gay.

I agree about the Chiefs offensive line. I believe it might be in their best interest to go 6-10 and get a couple good offensive linemen and or linebackers in the next draft, than to overachieve and lose a higher draft pick.

4-12. I bet there will be a lot of home games not on local TV this year. If they start doing good, I might just jump back on the band wagon, but I've had too many years of disappointment to get excited about them.

I'll say 8-8, with an option for 9-7 if they can beat the Raiders home and away. But what about the Vikings!!!!! Favre is back and will kick some NFC butt, including the 'Boys!!

I prognosticate a 7-9 record and closer to 6-10 than 8-8.

There's some reason for optimism from the bare fact that the Chiefs will have one of the easiest schedules in the league this year--in fact, Football Outsiders project them to have the easiest schedule overall. And to quote their Almanac, "If a team could choose between guaranteeing themselves the league's easiest schedule every year or adding, say, Peyton Manning to their roster, they would probably be right to select what was behind Door No. 1."

So barring an unusual rash of injuries, I'll say 9-7.
