Economy and the hobby

Again, let me re-emphasize this one last thing. I don't give a rat's hind-end WHERE you ladies set your rate. Period. That's entirely your call. If I can swing it, I'll make an appointment and follow through with the visit. If I can't swing it, you won't know this because I'll not have bothered you in the first place.

You left out one. There are providers who, no matter how low they set their rates, I wouldn't see. It is NOT all about price.

And I said in my first post "Specials rock", and I meant it. No, it's not a how cheap can you go thing, but a special sometimes pushes me to get off my lazy ass and go to the effort and set somethig up. Just popping up an ad with the same old info in it does nothing to push me forward.

Regardless. There will be differing opinions across the board on this topic.

In the end. The economy affects us all in the same way. It doesn't affect men more than women. That's non sense.

A-You hobby when the funds allow you to do so. Otherwise don't hobby.

B-The provider may or will run specials when they choose to. Don't dictate their rates or bully them to lower their rates. Respect the providers as human beings & women regardless of the rate you pay..
Don't be selfish. Be a true gentleman and respect & appreciate the providers who
give of their time & body to relieve some stress in your life for the moment your with them.

I am not "making" any provider do anything. If there's a special offered by a provider, it will be completely and totally of her own doing. I have NEVER negotiated a provider's rate. Never haggled, Never chiseled. EVER!

Nor have I EVER forced any woman to do anything.

That entire line of questioning regarding the lowering of rates and attracting "less savory" clients as a result... Are you the one in the room with those providers who lower their rates? Can you with 100% certainty state that by lowering their rates. Those providers will not attract one single unsavory guy when she lowers her rates?)


Whose to say *what* sparked the attraction. No one can say with 100% certainty one way or the other, so that's just a ridiculous question.


Going by your logic if a provider was to *raise her rate* then she should expect NO unsavory visitors, right? Isn't that the way this works...?


I CAN say with 100% certainty that if a provider finds herself in a room with one of these unsavory variety guys, then she needs to seriously take a look at her screening process and figure out how in the hell this unsavory dude slipped through the cracks. SCREENING weeds out the unsavory type a lot better than the provider's rate.

I'm not interested in specials and never try to get a special rate because I don't consider this just another service that falls under supply and demand. Below is a true story that I think everyone will enjoy.

A few years ago I had three of my guy friends go to Nuevo Laredo to Boystown. One of them had a birthday so his friend was going to "buy " him a bj from one of the girls in the bar as a birthday treat. He asked her how much and she said $100. He bargained her down to $80 and she said OK. Well, he asked how about $60? She was a little pissed but still agreed. He then said well how about $50?
Her angry reply was "I tell you what, I'll give you $50 and you suck him off."
I think there is a moral somewhere in this story.

Ok, bear with me. I have quite a few things to say here and this may be a longer than usual post.

Yes the economy is not as it once was. We all get that.
But that doesn't mean the ladies in this adult lifestyle should have to lower their donations and give of their bodies & time in the manner in which some men dictate is necessary for them to see said providers.

It all boils down to the fact that you hobby according to what your *extra* funds will allow. If you don't have *extra* funds to play then you don't hobby.
But don't expect providers to give of their bodies & time to you for less; while you expect more in return. It's disrespectful.

Specials are FOR providers just as much as they are FOR the hobbyist. The provider may get more appointments, repeat clientele, and could very well (and it has happened) boost her reputation within the community in a short amount of time thus contributing to her business overall- among many other fringe benefits. In MY experience, even when I offer a good special or a UTR special to friends, I still get tipped very well and the outcome is usually always that or MORE than my regular normal donation anyway!!!

Stop dictating & expecting providers near & far To lower their rates to appease you. So you can get more/expect more for less. Because that's what it boils down to with most men who whine about the economy.

For the providers you expect to lower their rates. Those providers
in turn have to (being blunt)...suck & fuck more men just to pay the expenses on their incalls/hotels. (and there are bills associated with private incalls) And in the end. Those providers lose out. Because they're making less. Giving more and not being appreciated. Hey, that is the biz they willfully CHOSE. No one can FORCE a lady to lower her rate. No one can tell her what to do if she doesn’t LET them! Common sense!!!! She is the only one to blame for having to suck and fuck more to pay the bills as it is HER CHOICE. The key word here is: RESPONSIBILITY!
And those are providers some of you men will end up running off.

Yet those of you who take those ladies for granted are the ones who seek out getting more for less. When it comes to having your way with a lady's body & time. And don't compensate those ladies for graciously giving you more time while you continued to have your way with their body.

I find that many guys prefer to get a hhr or take advantage of a special to make sure they have a good time before spending the really big bucks to avoid and TOFTT experiences and disappointments. They want to be sure also they are getting quality. I can totally sympathize with that. More and more reviews pop up where even Verified Providers are TOFTT people and that is so sad so it is understandable that a gent would want to spend less on a special until he can KNOW he is getting the best as advertised. If it is good, he will return even at full price because he is surer of what he can expect now. I have felt the same when hobbying myself and spending my hard earned cash. I always wonder if the guy is going to be worth it. I am walking essentially into the dark ya know?! LOL

The OP’s topic/thoughts are about the changes in the economy and not about specials and providers worth etc. so much than it is about HOW the economy has affected men, their hobby funds, and women leaving the hobby or entering the business to make money because of the economy. It is definitely NOT about men haggling or dictating rates to providers and arguments thereof.

My disposable income has also dropped and I find myself more reluctant to spend on the hobby due to economic uncertainty. I find myself looking out for specials and deals rather then going out when I feel like it. I still get the urge to hobby and sometimes that gets the better of my financial head. Lol. I do feel worried about some the ladies who rely on this as there main source of income and I hate to see talented ladies leave the hobby. At the same time I am curious if anyone has gone into the hobby due to the economic downturn. I am hoping things will pick up but it does not look like it will anytime soon. SA is certainly doing better than most and I am lucky to have my job. But at the same time all the uncertainty has certainly caused me some anxiety that translates into the hobby world. What do you guys think?

Thank you for your long and thoughtful post. WRT to your comment directed to me. I was told by one of the providers she knows that her business in Sa has been slow to non existent. Maybe that was not cool as it was second hand info. Other than that your post was, in my opinion, on point. I have been warned for getting off topic. Is there some warning that should be given to her for being so disrespectful? I will repeat my question as to her membership. I feel she is devisive and not productive.
