It also teaches that Jesus was a black man who was persecuted by white Europeans (Romans) and that the crucifixion was equivalent to a lynching. Jesus was a Jew; he was a Semite. Jesus was not a sub-Saharan African. African-Americans are not Jews; they are not descended from the Semites. I think many black Christians like to pretend that Jesus was black because of their hatred of white people; this peculiar practice seems to be unique to blacks. You don't see Chinese Christians pretending that Jesus was actually Chinese. Jews are white or olive complected with few acceptions, Sammy Davis Jr being one; but I'm pretty sure he converted.
