cheap bastards and fat hoes with GPS? Nice combo indeed

I wouldn't lower your rates. There are a lot of cheap bastards on here that love to bitch about anything over 200, don't listen to them. Originally Posted by Valerie

Surely you all remember me saying more than once that raising rates to narrow down the calls doesn't make sense, when if you want fewer calls, SIMPLY TURN OFF YOUR WORK PHONE, or politely say you're booked or leave a voice message saying you're booked. This is one of the potential pitfalls when your rates don't match your service output. I'm not saying that's the case here. I've never met the OP and can't say for sure either way or the other. Just trying to play devil's advocate a bit. Raising your rates to ward off 'too many calls' (whatever the hell that means) may work great for the short run, but not so much for the longer run.

Keep listening to the ladies. Also keep in mind, they're not going to see you no matter what your rates are, but us 'idiot guys' that are saying yeah, your rates are a bit high, one or two of us just might decide on seeing you if your rates were a bit more appealing. Hell, you don't have to lower them, per se. Just neatly disguise it as a special like everyone else does from time to time.

Some of these same ladies who are so hell bent on never lowering their rates are some of the same ones who bargain shop at outlet malls and WON'T buy something because it costs a few bucks more than they're willing to spend.

There's a term for this kind of thinking.
I would listen to your "valued customers" rather than your competition. I would talk to your customers in private rather than open fourems and you should know which ones are honest and remember no one and I mean no one has your best interest at heart except yourself.
Figure out what your living expenses are and build your business plans around that and be independent and plan and charge to meet those expenditures. And wake up earlier!

And of course, the OP is nowhere to be seen for her reply.

I agree with Valerie. The answer isn't automatically to lower your rates. The answer is to make your sessions well worth $300 an hour. You're a hot girl, you've the looks to pull it off but that's really less than half of the game, service matters more.

Men are chumps, just don't let them ever catch on that you think they're chumps.

bad move for lowering rates, just run specials for the time being

I agree with some of the guys about charging a higher rate, if your looks and service level deserve it. A local Lady, Ava Baker, maybe retired, charged $400 per hour. She had a killer body, provided a GFE/PSE+++ experience and she usually went well over the hour without charging more.

I never saw Miss Baker, but knew of her through a mutual friend. If she comes out of retirement, I may have to save the coin to see her, at least once.

I will reiterate my original post. Go onto your p411 and offer a discount to members.

Many of us look at p411 because that is the safe way to see providers, but we search all the gals and look hard at the final price we are charged.

You may be great, but I have a few atf's who I KNOW are great and they charge usually closer to 200 for p411 members.

Many good points made. I see from previous reviews some your sessions have been as low as 160/30 mins, 225hr. Too me it is simple, you price yourself at the level you feel comfortable with AND gets you the income you NEED ( big difference between need and want). If 300 hr gets you 1 but not 2, guess what? Advertisements, reviews, web page, updated pictures, making yourself noticed, etc are all part of making 1 and 2 happen (you received wise advice from Fancy), but YOU have to work on that! It doesn't happen for you. To be a 300hr provider you not only have to have the looks and good service, you have to be savvy about it. Otherwise, as others have said, puts you in par with 200-250.

My point being is anything above 300 is not given it's earned........I seldom see reviews or any mention of you around here therefore to me you look like a newbie provider with GPS. Might not be what you want to hear but I wont sugar coat it.

Also ZedX79 brings up a good point, check this thread periodically and listen to what customers are saying, don't just post some shit up and expect it to boost your business.

If not, then maybe, you should not be so hasty as to raise rates. Most raise rates to lower volume of people coming in and still make the same amount of income.

In either case, all this is business advice, take each one, review it, and decide what you wanna do. I would definitely not lower price without figuring out by how much, the best way if you think it is price is to try specials.

But here is my advice on it, try asking your regulars what they like to see different, call back after a session, (not 3 weeks later if you catch my drift, do it while the experience is still fresh) to find out what could have been better and note it for next time, then be sure to do exactly that and make sure they notice. Do the same thing businesses do all the time to improve performance and retain customers, and your regulars will come back again knowing that you are dedicated to making their experience better each and every time. You will get more honest answers over the phone than when they are still there. Usually i charge to give such sound business advice but i feel generous this weekend.
