I wish failure on Miami

Typically, when a first round draft choice signs their second contract, it is for a long period.

LeFail did not do that and even worse, he refused to help bring in other players the last 2-3 years because he'd flaunt other cities both on and off the court.

Going to football games in other cities wearing other team caps? Yeah, that screams class.

Even with one of the best records the last couple years, LeQuit wouldn't help his own cause by assiting the team management to recruit.

Look at Jordan's Bulls. Does anyone not understand how MJ would go talk to those the team wanted as free agents telling them to come sign?

LeFail did just the opposite by sending strong signals that he didn't need help yet here he goes to ride on the coat tails of Wade who already has a ring.

Tell you what, go take a look at ALL the Hall of Fame football players the Browns have there and see how many years they played.

Look at the Tribe and the players in the 90's who stayed there. IF not for the strike in 94 coupled with that really unfortunate boating accident that killed 2 pitchers and seriously fucked up the 3rd, the Tribe would have been more than runners up in the 95 and 97 series. Hell, name one other pro team to lose 3 top pitchers in spring training and still do what they did in 95. And then look at the number of years the players stuck around.

Cavs back in the Jordan-beating-their-ass days? Those guys didn't try to leave, they stayed and tried to bring in more talent. Except for that 60 point Jordan game that one playoff series, it might just have been Cleveland taking it all that year but I DO give MJ credit for doing what Lefail couldn't and didn't do this year and MJ picked up the team and carried them on his back pretty much on his own.

LeQuit needs help. I don't think his ego will do well if they don't win it all in 2011.

I am so sick of hearing everybody scream this loyalty crap. Teams have NO loyalty to players whatsoever. Well maybe the love was never truly there, just a love for what he could do for them and when that's gone. Here lies the true fellings about the man.

Why should Lebron do anything for the team? Lets face it, team owners treat their players like racehorses, they care for them because they are investments, but they will cut them loose at the first sign of trouble, or trade them if they think they are doing the team better and they don't give a shit about the player.

Lebron was right to go where he wanted to. I think he coulda done it with a little more class for his fans in Cleveland, but hey, he's young, rich and surrounded by all the wrong people. His choice though.

Only time will tell if this is a good thing or not for Lebron and the Heat.

Huh? Sure he'll have more than one "sidekick" but what are you talking about? Three guys took damn near all of the money. There will be no bench that's worth a shit because there will be no money left over for a quality bench. And Miller is always hurt lately and he plays the same position as Wade and Lebron.

You're right, it's necessary to have a 7-8 quality players on a team but it's not fiscally possible for the Heat to have one with the salary cap. So the new big 3 should enjoy wearing out their legs during an 82 game regular season.

I really have no problem with Lebron. He is an incredible player. I just regret that I will not be able to see him showcase his greatness like he could have if he did not jump on another star's team. I also regret how he handled the situation because I think all of those guys knew a long time ago where they were going to go so I did did not see the point of Lebron hiring Jim Gray for that drawn out "Decision" show.

And for all of those who say, owners and teams show no loyalty, you are 100% correct. I don't feel sorry for them at all. I feel sorry for the fans who spend their hard earned money in a bad economy to support their teams.

It will be a nightmare for every team in the league to contend with. They'll win 65 games on snooze, and will probably threaten 70. Heat games will probably be 3 hours long, too, from these guys shooting free throws all night.

But as I've posted, LePawn not only refused to help, he also did everything he could in his career to insure that the Cavs would not be able to sign top or really even free agent talent to help.

What part of no money left available are you not understanding? They can't pay for that because they are barely under the cap. Miller is a great shooter but he plays the same position as Lebron and Wade. Miller also will command a fairly high salary from them. There won't be any money left for a "rebounder".

You mention "spot up shooters", that's a tough asset to obtain in the NBA. JJ Reddick was offered 3 years and $20M by the Bulls and he's never averaged more than 10 points a game. Ray Allen at 35 years old was just given 2 years and $20M. I am not sure why you act like obtaining a bunch of great shooters is easy to come by.

You also forget that everyone gets injured as well. That team won't win 55 games. I guarantee you that. I take that back, Lebron's teams always win a lot of games during the regular season so they'll probably win at least 60. They just won't get past Boston or Orlando in the Eastern finals....You have to have at least 5 guys who can really play to win a championship and they won't be able to do that next season. There is no way this teams even makes it to the Finals with Chicago, Boston and Orlando waiting for them.

Again, I have to mention that Bosh at Center is going to be a big problem at 6'10". He's very soft and light in the ass. When they play the Lakers, the Heat are going to be fucked with the Lakers' front line.

And more importantly, you don't think Kobe is going to be ready for this challenge? The Heat will be fun to watch but they won't win shit until Kobe wears down with age, which with his wear and tear, will unfortunately probably happen in 2 years.

You're right about the free throws though, other than Durant, no players shoot more than Wade, James and Howard..Good call.
