This shit will be over in 6 with the Clippers advancing to the Western Conference Finals. SMMFH....... Originally Posted by kerwil62

Man these muthafuckas.......

The Houston Rockets are a gotdamn joke!!

This series is over. Friday they get slaughtered by 25 and tonight it's 33??? Talk about choking, these muthafuckas wrote the book on that shit!

The Clippers will be in the Western Conference Finals for the first time ever, and the might be playing the Grizzlies if Golden State don't get their shit together!
Mavs fall.....Spurs fall....and (soon to be) Rockets fall.

The Texas Trio did not represent this year, people. Each team looks very flawed....and were all exposed in the WC playoffs. Should be an interesting off season this summer......

The Mavs were pretty discombobulated in the second half of the season with injuries to Rondo, Parsons, Chandler, and other guys, I don't think anyone really had too much expectations from them heading into the playoffs. And obviously things fell off a cliff when Rondo quit on the team.

Spurs in my opinion have nothing to really feel bad about, they had an epic 7 game series against a team we are seeing is really legit, and that can potentially win it all.

Rockets though....they look pretty bad. Probably going to have the "soft" label thrown on them if it's another blowout in game 6 (if they can even make it that far).

2/5 of their starting lineup (core guys) were out starting in game 3, the series should have been a sweep. Rockets have had injuries too, but only to role players. Parsons and Rondo were key guys for Dallas. And they still only lost game 3 by two points, both games there were very competitive. And if Barea and Aminu were in the lineup starting in game one, the series might have gone 6 or 7 games.

And those guys, Aminu and Barea are alright players, Dirk and Tyson Chandler are pretty old, whoever the rockets face in the next round are going to be way more difficult to deal with than the Mavericks team they just faced. Barea, a slightly above average PG was able to have his way in the paint. Tony Parker and CP are leaps and bounds better than that guy or any other PG on Dallas.

Rockets deserve credit for winning and doing what they had to do, but it wasn't all that impressive in the way they did it. Things like 15 turnovers in the first half isn't going to cut it in the next round. Originally Posted by TheDon

With that said these guys should be embarrassed with their last six quarters. Poor shot selection and no defense have been the key. I lost count of how many missed attempts they've had in the paint and they aren't even coming from Harden. The front court can't make a point blank shot, even missing on dunks and the back court, when they do drive, puts up horseshit "layups" from 5 feet away from the basket like they are trying to spin it in or something.
Jordan got in D-12s head early last game and didn't let up. Harden seems scared of the paint. The entire style of play that got them this far has just up and disappeared.

I like McHale but he has gotten his ass handed to him by Rivers and I don't see him learning anything from it. Might be time for him to move on.

The Clippers have owned the Rockets and the Rockets are just letting it happen. I don't have a clue as to how they could get back in it now. They just have to get back to what they do best. Points in the paint, draw fouls and hit the three.

Finally made a little scratch on da bastad's tonight. Had them straight up at +125, -3 1/2 at +175, and the Clippers under 110.

The Clippers got in foul trouble early and it changed who was the aggressor.
That was sweet when Harden suckered Jordan into his third foul. He has to continue to be the main man on offense with Howard following up.
Rockets defense still needs to tighten up. Griffin and Jordan both are getting too many easy baskets on put backs just by getting position down low.

Just gotta win one in LA and this comes down to game 7. Rockets can't be scared. Just play their style of ball.

Kudos to the Rockets for taking it to them but just at it was an epic comeback at the hands of Brewer and Smith it was equally an epic meltdown by the Clippers. They put it on cruise control way too soon and couldn't re focus when they got their backs against the wall.

Horseshit shots that were falling for them in games 3 & 4 just weren't last night and the Rockets weren't giving them second chances.

I don't know that I come away feeling great about the Rockets chances in game 7 other than they have home court. There is no way the Clippers lay down like that Sunday. Doc is going to have them up and keep them up. We'll see who has the heart of a champion.

Early line in Vegas is Clippers by 2.

I'm surprised yet again! REALLY surprised this time!

I just KNEW this series was over. The got all kinds of momentum after coming back from a 19 point deficit to win by 12!

The Rockets regained home field again. Now the ball is in their court to close the Clippers out. They cannot be lazy AT ALL! They gotta make shots and keep the defense strong and not do stupid shit in the court because the Clippers are pissed off letting Game 6 get away from them and they will be coming hard as fuck!

We'll see what happens...............
