Note how he didn't get anywhere near the stated goal of 90 deals in 90 days and was mostly negotiating with himself.
There's smart negotiating and then there's TACO negotiating. We didn't get to the current tariff regime under Trump with smart negotiating. Not for zero tariffs or free trade. Not even for fair trade, because there's no requirement for balanced trade. That's a fiction that many just accept, because "deficits" are bad.
