Buying Sex in Texas Is Now a Felony

Exactly. Dont report new places. Dont review new places. In fact, maybe no more reviews, period Originally Posted by oldphone14

There appear to be one or two commenting here who actually have worthwhile viewpoints as opposed to the 95% who are giving naivety and paranoia entirely new definitions.
That is not how it works at all, SJ even had a good write up about this. If you even discuss dollar amount you're probably fucked. Don't forget that even if you can beat the charges, some places of work require you to report if you've even been arrested at all. Originally Posted by anonymousbusiness512

I'm probably oversimplifying it, but if you're with a lady you have seen multiple times (or a studio you have been to multiple times) and trust has been established, why not wait until the end to produce the donation? Most of the AMP girls (and 100% of the AMP girls I have seen more than once), don't ask for the money at the beginning. I remember some girls used to refuse it at the beginning (i.e. Bunny, Susan), and now it makes sense why. There would obviously have to be trust involved, and there's no doubt about it that sucks jerkoff would take advantage of that and ruin it for everyone.

If I just request a date and time, neither person discusses any services or donation beforehand, you show up, do the deed (aka make a deposit), and then pay at the end, I feel like there shouldn't be issues. I am sure I am being naive, but don't most busts occur at the beginning of an encounter, right? Would LE wait for the session to get over and then go for the bust? Only way it wouldn't work is if there were cameras in the room and neither party was working with LE......but for an hour, LE would just wonder if it's just a regular hookup and nothing illegal occurred. Like I said, I'm probably oversimplifying it, but I do think SJ makes a great point.

If you have ever been arrested, and nothing came of it.

Dont report it. Originally Posted by oldphone14

I’m glad that I decided not to move to Texas.

Similarly, if you're using a burner email, make sure it's in a foreign jurisdiction. The main thing is that I'd now never give out my ECCIE handle for the screening process as felony sting op' would be terrible. This increases the risk, and likely will end the joy of the full service table shower storefront spa, but there will still be hobby options.

The servers were already overseas. It’s the ownership that supposedly changed after FOSTA/SESTA.

many paranode people on here, still have no idea how they will enforce this. Just my 2 cents.

Making it a felony to simply offer to pay for sex is getting into 8th Amendment territory--cruel and unusual punishment. Maybe the right case will come along and this new law will be declared unconstitutional. A big maybe.
