Well, I am a retired Chef so my Pumpkin Pie is best! But I am more partial to Pecan Pie myself. The secret is in the crust. A lousy crust will ruin any pie, especially a soggy crust. Also, if you have a family that won't eat a whole pie, consider making a few small pumpkin or pecan tarts. That way each family member can have whatever they want. And Blue Bell Vanilla ice cream of course!!
