I too agree with dd. The elephant poo analogy went over my head. I do think dd has a knack for expressing his wisdom through poo analogies.

From an established provider's point of view......it doesn't matter if the guy has 20+ reviews under his handle or he doesn't have any. I screen them all the same way and I believe about half of what they say.

Are reviews and the guys who post them important?

I do think reviews are important and I respect the hell out of every guy who posts them, whether he has 1 or 100. The hobby can be dangerous and reviewing has it's own possible dangers. Reviewers are putting their fingerprints on illegal activity for anyone to see and once it's there, it's there forever. It can certainly be accessed by all kinds of people and traced back to the source. This is especially a concern with expanded government intrusion. I thought long and hard whether I wanted to do this but, as I don't really have much to lose, I felt it was worth the risk. A lot of guys who do this have families and careers at risk so they have more to lose than I. So of course, I respect the reviewers. Maybe the guys who don't review are smarter but then, there would be no Eccie or at least a very limited one.

Reviews are obviously a valuable guide to the ladies you want to see and the services they offer. I check them out thoroughly and I would differ with those who say numerous reviews of the same lady are unimportant. A lady's looks, attitude, performance can fluctuate over time. I like a lot of recent volume because it's a snapshot in time. Reviews from 2 years ago don't help much and only a few recent reviews are also not very helpful. I'm not rich so I want as much information as possible so I don't waste money. This system has worked for me as I've never had a bad situation yet.

I think the other forums here can be useful and the reviews help drive traffic to the other areas. Without them, I think this would be a pretty desolate site. Look what happened to Eraps. Barely any reviews so it struggled and died. I think strong reviews can keep the site strong.

Reviews aren't just for the guys. Good reviews are great ads for the ladies. Many ladies I see ask me to write them. If I had a good time and she did her job, I'm happy to help her. Some tell me a good review can bring extra business. A great situation all around, She's happy and so am I. Also, they may help a lady improve her business if she's smart and can take some criticism. A young provider here got off to a rocky start with some poor reviews and it seems like she took that to heart and really cleaned up her act. Last I looked, her reviews were excellent and she's quite popular.

As far as the non-reviewers, I don't hate any of them. Why would I? i don't know them. I don't automatically give respect though just because they've been around awhile. I don't get much from their posts but so what? It just seems that some people care too much about other's opinions. I don't care if anyone likes me. I just post what I want and forget about it.

Bottom line is that I will always respect the reviewers and what they offer and I think the reviews help make Eccie strong. Without reviews, I doubt there would be an Eccie.

I'm interested in opinions here. It has been pointed out to myself and others that don't post reviews that we don't post reviews. A number of folks have touched on this review snafu but one in particular seems obsessed. I have repeatedly asked him and others to explain WTF difference it makes whether I post reviews or not but for some reason I never get an answer, just more snide comments..
