Probably the same as the rest of MAGA.

They make a hero out of Rittenhouse, then demonize Pretti.

LOOK AT THE FUCKING VIDEO ANALYSIS BY THE NY TIMES!

He didn't fucking pull his gun. It was taken away from him. Then he was murdered.

End.

As Krist Noem points out
Minnesota’s carry law statute says, “The holder of a permit to carry must have the permit card and a driver’s license, state identification card, or other government-issued photo identification in immediate possession at all times when carrying a pistol and must display the permit card and identification document upon lawful demand by a peace officer, as defined in section 626.84, subdivision 1. ”

IF the DHS/ICE/CBP/Noem/Bovino tale that he had no ID on him at the time of his death is true...

OTOH...I don't think he was 'lawfully demanded' to show his ID either.
Even the NRA is now weighing in.

These sentiments are “dangerous and wrong,” the NRA stated, and called for an inquiry into the fatal violence that agents deployed against ICU nurse Alex Pretti.

The Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus also posted regarding FBI head Kash Patel not knowing the law.

This is a photo from a video showing an ICE officer removing Alex's gun. This happened about 1 second before officers fired 10 shots. Seems like they wanted to make sure he would be dead.

Inexcusable.

That is about it.

do not fight the Law
So we all agree the police at the capitol should have shot the rioters attempting to enter. Those folks surely fought the law.

I just want us to keep a single standard.

Perhaps even some at DHS/ICE/CBP are seeing the damage being done to the country by their actions.

https://x.com/BillMelugin_/status/20...ti-shooting%2F

In a post to X late Sunday, Fox News congressional correspondent Bill Melugin — citing “more than half a dozen federal sources involved in immigration enforcement” — reported deep internal skepticism about DHS’s handling of the shooting.

DHS responded to Melugin’s report with a statement.

“We have seen a highly coordinated campaign of violence against our law enforcement,” DHS said. “This individual committed a federal crime while armed as he obstructed an active law enforcement operation. As with any situation that is evolving, we work to give swift, accurate information to the American people as more information becomes available.”

Geez, you couldn't have told that 'accurate' part from initial Noem/Bovino/Bondi/etc. comments

If not the damage to the nation, at least the damage being done to 'the cause'

“Some of these sources have described DHS’ response to the shooting as ‘a case study on how not to do crisis PR’ one said they are so ‘fed up’ that they wish they could retire, another said ‘DHS is making the situation worse,’ and another added that ‘DHS is wrong’ and ‘we are losing this war, we are losing the base and the narrative.'”
Is Bovino's explanation of the target of actions that ended in Pretti's death starting to fall apart even more?

Bovino claimed Jose Huerta-Chuma, who Border Patrol agents were targeting Saturday morning, had a criminal history that included domestic assault to intentionally inflict bodily harm, disorderly conduct, and driving without a valid license.
Bovino seems to want to also claim the target of the operation escaped due to Pretti's actions and the resulting chaos from the DHS/ICE/CBP shooting of Pretti.
“We were looking for a violent illegal alien just a few feet away from where that shooting occurred, and as we were doing that, agitators, rioters, anarchists began to show up to impede our ability to conduct that title eight mission,”
“That alien, because of what that suspect did, is walking the streets right now; that suspect is at large right now and escaped.”
Now, new information may cast doubt on the whole operation...

https://thehill.com/homenews/nexstar...n-discrepancy/

The state’s DOC says Huerta-Chuma had never been in custody, based on the department’s data records and court data. The records also showed Huerta-Chuma had committed no felonies in the state, nor was he currently under supervision from the state.

“DOC records further indicate that an individual by this name was previously held in federal immigration custody in a local Minnesota jail in 2018, during President Trump’s first administration,” the department said in a statement. “Any decisions regarding release from federal custody at that time would have been made by federal authorities. DOC has no information explaining why this individual was released.”
I'm sure (or maybe not) that DHS/Noem investigation will uncover the real story.

BOOHOO but I Dislike cry me a river
Karoline Leavitt is confusing me...

Are DHS/ICE/CBP in Minnesota to detain/arrest/deport illegal aliens or to investigate/prosecute fraud?
