Profile Of A Provider

Fast Gunn's Avatar
I thought I might rattle a few cages with my inquiry, but I am a risk-taker myself and I know that my intentions are honorable in seeking only to better understand the situation.

I wanted to find out a little more about what goes on in providers heads in regards to their customers.

I think it takes a lot more courage to be a provider than it does to be a hobbyist, but if we both understood each other better, the sessions would be more satisfying.

From my perspective, hobbyists could learn more about emotional detachment from providers and providers could learn a little more about sensitivity from the hobbyists that are so inclined.

Sometimes, I get the feeling that we are just trying to out-flank and out-maneuver each other instead of trying to better understand each other.

Is building trust with a provider really just a hopeless task?

Trying to make friends again FG?

Or maybe this is another one of your attempts at damage control?

I actually feel sorry for you FG. I'm getting the message that you must have met some real winners in the provider arena. And, trying to figure out what goes on in a provider's mind...my friend...you must be a glutton for punishment!

I can't speak for the other ladies, but I know I have managed to meet and make some awesome friendships from the hobby community...both ladies and gents. On the other hand, I have also had some really weird experiences and some that were outright hurtful. I don't let those bad experiences tarnish the great moments, and certainly, keep me from enriching my life.

There is no definitive identifiable meeting point between the body and mind...and life is way too short for wondering "why" all the time. And, I happen to know quite a few ladies who "like to fuck strangers," and some say, "the stranger, the better!" (lol)

Have a good week!

In my limited experience no two providers have been close enough to the same to catergorize any of them. I've met a few that I connected well with, some of that was them, and some there seemed to be some good chemistry between us. Some are a little colder or more distant, and some fall somewhere in between. I would compare it to alot of other business'. While not as intimate, you sometimes feel a connection with people that you deal with, and prefer to have them wait on you, even if they don't really do there job better than the others. It's way to broad to group anyone into any specific category.

There is no use in trying to group us all together in the same box...it just won't work!
This thread led me to the referenced one on which EmilyHemmingway responded.

Rarely have I seen so much WTF in one place.

In reality everyone thinks both sorts are, at best, a bit of a wanker.

So, anyways, that's one common problem for the ladies. I dunno, anyone here ever run across a guy like that? Originally Posted by EmilyHemingway

I saw Eddie Izard last night on TV (sic! - have you seen him?) and he was explaining the difference to his US audience between 'bollocks' and 'the dog's bollocks'.

To make it clear, Emily is the dog's bollocks. Fast Gunn writes bollocks.

Clear?

Oh shit, just realised this is on old thread, I was reading it from a link from another thread.

Another slapping of wrists about to be experienced...but now I've moved it to this more recent thread!

I'm new to this. However, I honestly do like to fuck strangers.

I also connect and am not emotionally detached. I know the connection is a paid one and it breaks once I leave. When I'm there it's real though.
